Publish from apps with Micropub

Micropub apps exist for most platforms. Indigenous (iOS and Android) and Sunlit (iOS) are good places to start for photography; any app that supports Micropub with photos will work. You never type a password into the app itself.

A moment needs at least one photograph; Moments is a photo journal, so a post without one is declined with a clear message. The app's text becomes the field note, its title becomes the moment's title, and its categories become tags. The capture date is read from the photographs' own EXIF, the same way a dashboard upload pre-fills it.

Drafts and visibility work too. An app that marks a post as a draft creates an unpublished moment you can finish in the dashboard. Public posts can appear in the community as usual, unlisted ones stay link-only, and a post marked private arrives as a draft, safely invisible until you decide.

Settings, then Apps, lists every app you have approved, with when it connected and when it last added something. Disconnect one and it can no longer add anything; the moments it already added stay yours, in your journal, like everything else.

If Moments Plus access pauses, connected apps rest rather than disconnect. Nothing is revoked and nothing is lost; publishing from apps resumes as soon as Plus access does.
